CMS Brembana launch new combination machine centre

CMS Brembana the stone division of CMS Industries have launched a new machine centre designed for smaller workshops with limited floor space.

The Unyka is a five axis CNC machine centre which is capable of combining the use of a direct blade up to 500mm dia for the sawing operations with the cutting tools and profile wheels required for the shaping, profiling and polishing operations typically needed for processing a wide variety of products by manufacturers in the stone sector

The Unyka's large capacity X axis 3500mm Y axis 3200mm Z axis 680 with rotating B & C axes, combined with 30kW spindle complete with 26 +1 position tool crib ensures maximum flexibility from this very versatile machining centre, not only reducing the floor space required but adding significantly to the effciency of the manufacturer by allowing many processes to be carried out during one set up whilst using only one machine centre
